It is our responsibility to provide not just a new house, but an attractive, high quality community in which to live and enjoy life and raise a family. Where some builders and developers compromise on quality by building cookie-cutter, tract-built housing, one would assume that buyers there should compromise their quality of life. Our homes and neighborhoods speak for themselves. We strive to "build 'em like they used to" and to provide good looking, quality homes for quality people. Our plans offer modern considerations, such as spacious kitchens, luxury baths, and sensible room dimensions, yet still retain the charm of the homes built almost a century ago.
My name is Rob Edwards, owner of R.W. Edwards, Inc., I started working in the building industry during the summers while in high school. After high school, and during college, I worked with a contractor for more than seven years. During these years I was involved in many aspects of the building process from overseeing the footings, framing, applying siding, setting cabinets, installing hardwood floors and all interior finishes. This experience enabled me to have a framing crew numbering more than 25 contractors. Having a true passion for home building and working with clients I got my Contractor's License. Keeping the original contractors that always worked with me was a top priority, realizing they are essential for the way R.W. Edwards was to operate. A lot of contractors are a "one man operation" hiring subcontractors to do most of the work. R.W. Edwards Inc. is comprised of men who have spent their career in the building industry. They are not just a framing crew, but also apply siding, landscaping, small sheet rock jobs, all interior trim, painting, hardwood floors, installing cabinets and all punch list work. We do not pretend to be a "Jack of all Trades", the simple truth is we have the experience. My top priority is for the workmanship to be second to none, and to have a happy customer. When you hire R.W. Edwards, Inc. for your project you are hiring a team of experienced home builders from the beginning to the end.
